This week, we have a Casting Cage episode with the dudes reviewing the Nic Cage cult classic (?), The Weather Man. Starring Hope Davis, Nicholas Hoult, and the ever talented Sir My Cocaine (Michael Caine said in a cockney accent). 
 
We learn Bucky is in Love with Nicolas Cage (it finally happened, you guys). We also get wildly different views on who (and what) a good father is and which characters in the movie exhibit this behavior. Bring some marshmallows, yall! It's about to get heated.

Yo. We got another hum-dinger of a Fast Pitch episode for you. This week, the guy’s draw the challenging title: “Demonic Victory at Yummy Yard.” While the title certainly invokes a dark presence, you also have a light-hearted side to it. And each pitch goes in a completely different direction. We’ve got evil architecture uncovered, futuristic cyber-punk possessions, and a story about a couple running a candy store in Gatlinburg, TN.
 
Plus, AI churns out a generic movie that we discuss the merits of (or lack thereof). Nothing new under the sun, n’such.

On this week's Casting Cage episode, the guy's explore 2005's Lord Of War. With stars like the beautiful Jared Leto, so-so Bridget Moynahan, the talented Ethan Hawke,  charming Eammon Walker, and the enigmatic Donald Sutherland(?), it's bound to be a hit, right? Right?
 
Loosely based off a real person, the story is that of an international drug runner profiting off war and death. Truly a picture for the times. We discuss the film in detail, give movie marriage examples, revise the movie's tagline, and deliver our contentious ratings. All for our listenership.

This week, the guy's draw the unfortunate title of "Chrome Clue Then Timid Stew" for an interesting Fast Pitch episode. Tough, tough title, but they somehow persevere: Crafted Superhero orgin stories, fallen punk rock idols, and a former game show contestant destined for better things. And AI cast Nic Cage in it's movie!! (It's definitely keeping tabs on us)
 
Also, Oldboy sidetracks into an embarrassing ordeal regarding sheep butts and now we all understand the mind of a lonely farmer a little better...

Ever wonder what the Founding Fathers did in their spare time? Yeah, us neither. But Nic Cage sure does in the 2004 blockbuster (?) National Treasure! Have you seen it? Yeah? And did you love it?? Yeah??? Hold on, we're going to guess how old you are....
 
This is one of Nic Cage's most well known movies. It's a Disney flick. It focuses on conspiracy theories, long lost treasure, and American History. Starring Sean Bean, Diane Kruger, Jon Voight, Harvey Keitel, and the dude who's in the Hangover that's hardly in the Hangover. Love it or hate it, we're going to watch it for the listenership.

Last night I dreamed I was on a game show where the host had the face of Nic Cage, the buzzer was a jar of bees, and every question was just the word “why” whispered in reverse.
I lost.
My consolation prize was front-row tickets to 
“Brother Ropes and the Two Neighbors”

On this week's Casting Cage episode, the guy's review 2003's Matchstick Men.  You've seen it, right? Ridley Scott flick, believe it or not. Yeah, Sam Rockwell is in it, too. It got 7.3/10 on IMDB and has a 83% score on Rotten Tomatoes...you sure you haven't seen it? No? Hmm. Well, neither had we, actually. Take that back, Bucky did see it a long time ago, but clearly forgot the plot, so...yeah. 
 
Well, we break it all the way down. You into Long Con films, yeah? Good. Because we have a great episode on a (great? Good? So-so?) Con-man film. You can totally trust us

This week Fast Pitch gets weird with the title “The Light That Parents Tight.”
 
What starts as a baffling phrase turns into three wildly different movie pitches. Bucky delivers a twisted tale of overbearing parents who discover their kids reading a classic children’s book. Juicebox dives into a sci-fi/horror/love? story that explores how far new parents will go to fix a broken relationship. And Oldboy? He cashes in on a sequel to his earlier pitch, Shelter Our Darkness, Then Chicago.

This week, the guys at Bucky's Basement review 2002's Adaptation for another Fast Pitch episode. Where to begin...it's a fictional film about real life screenwriter Charlie Kaufman, adapting real life novel, The Orchid Thief, for the big screen,  unsuccessfully... ? Yeah, we confused ourselves, too. Starring, Nic Cage in a dual role, Meryl Streep (she is hot), and the fabulous Chris Cooper (where do i know him from? He's the angry Dad in many a film).

This week on Bucky's Basement,  we have a Fast Pitch episode. The Sack giveth out the title "Many Imps." And Bucky is pissed because he doesn't know what an imp is.
 
We've got three fresh movie pitches: Juicebox delivers us a long lost, legendary taping of a mysterious game show, Oldboy doles out a story about a Matriarch playing a devilish game with her family over her MLM fortune, Bucky spins us a prequel to a beloved 80's classic, and lastly, and  AI drops a pitch  about a inherited cabin infested with reality-altering imps.
